Making friction fire is a skill that is essential to have not only to survive but to live in harmony and balance. Fire is one of the 5 sacred wisdoms in the human experience here on this planet. This is a skill shrouded in mysticism and sacred societies associated with many ancient and current cultures. To harness and manifest the heat and light from the sun by one’s own creative efforts is amazing and almost on par with what would classify as a miracle. Especially in the cold, damp and dark conditions of the winter.
